Sanchez tossed 6 2/3 hitless innings last Saturday in Cleveland before three consecutive hits chased him from the game. His command and his confidence in his offspeed pitches might have been his best since joining the Tigers from Miami in July.



Athletics: LHP Tommy Milone (13-10, 3.81 ERA)

Milone earned his 13th win of the season Friday night against Baltimore, setting an Oakland rookie record. He allowed six hits and one earned run over 6 1/3 innings, striking out two and walking two.
