Tigers: RHP Anibal Sanchez (1-3, 7.97 ERA)

Sanchez will be pitching on eight days' rest after his spot was pushed back in Detroit's rotation, but that might not compare to the pressure from Tigers fans who have been hoping for him to be their team's big boost since his July trade from Miami.



Blue Jays: LHP Aaron Laffey (3-4, 4.70 ERA)

Laffey continues to be plagued by the long ball. The lefty gave up three hits over six innings in his last start, but all three were homers. He has allowed eight homers over his past five starts, winning just one, and has a 7.39 ERA in that span.
