Tigers: RHP Doug Fister (6-7, 3.48 ERA)

Fister faltered briefly in the second inning of his last start, allowing the Yankees two run. But he regrouped to throw 6 1/3 innings in a no-decision. He is 1-6 with a 4.36 ERA in seven career starts vs. the Twins and 0-2 at Target Field.



Twins: LHP Brian Duensing (2-7, 4.46 ERA)

Duensing wasn't at his best vs. Cleveland on Wednesday, allowing six runs (four earned) on 11 hits and a walk in seven innings. But he wasn't helped much by his defense either, as the Twins had several misplays behind him.
