Scherzer's loss in Boston on Monday was his first since June 23 and his highest run total allowed in nearly two months. He'll try to recover against a Tribe lineup he held down for seven innings of two-run ball with eight strikeouts last Wednesday.

The Indians plan on promoting Seddon from Triple-A Columbus to start against the Tigers on Sunday. Seddon, who hasn't pitched in the Majors since 2010 with Seattle, has gone 6-2 with a 2.66 ERA in his last 10 Triple-A starts.
