Scherzer hurled a gem in his last start vs. the Angels, tossing seven innings, allowing one run on three hits and fanning nine. He's notched quality starts in seven of his last nine games and is 4-4 with a 5.44 ERA in his career vs. Cleveland.



Indians: RHP Derek Lowe (8-8, 5.04 ERA)

Lowe continued to struggle in his last outing against the Orioles, allowing nine runs in three-plus innings. Lowe walked five and didn't strike out a batter. He is 2-6 with an 8.31 ERA in his last 10 starts.
