Tigers: RHP Max Scherzer (8-5, 4.72 ERA)

Scherzer struggled to control his fastball in his last outing, allowing four runs on nine hits and two walks in only five innings on Saturday against the Orioles, snapping a streak of five consecutive quality starts.



Angels: RHP Jerome Williams (6-6, 4.67 ERA)

Williams gave up a couple of two-run homers while surrendering five runs in seven innings and getting tagged with the loss vs. the Yankees. The 30-year-old, who's 0-4 with a 7.54 ERA over his last four starts, came out of it with no breathing issues.
