The sinkerballer posted a 5.18 ERA through his first 13 starts but has pitched to a 2.28 mark since. He allowed 12 hits and lasted just 3 2/3 innings in his last outing but managed to limit the damage to three runs.



Angels: RHP Ervin Santana (4-9, 5.75 ERA)

Santana will look to bounce back from an up-and-down first half that ended on a sour note -- eight runs on six hits and three walks in 1 1/3 innings vs. the Indians on July 4. His velocity and stuff is fine. His location and mechanics aren't.
