There will be a few new faces in the Tigers dugout this season. In addition to closer Jose Valverde, rookie outfielder Austin Jackson and starting pitcher Max Scherzer will make their Tiger debuts this Spring.
Jackson and Scherzer were the main components of the offseason Curtis Granderson trade, and Jackson, a former Yankees prospect, should get the call to start in centerfield.
