Quick hits
By Jason Beck / MLB.com | 04/01/12 6:36 PM ET

• Michael Rockett wasn't scheduled to start Sunday's game against the Astros, but Brennan Boesch's neck spasms earned him a chance at a two-hit game in a Tiger uniform. "That was great. It's fun to play these kids and get them in a big league box score," said Leyland, who was still singing Elton John's "Rocket Man" after the game.
