TIGERS TOP THE ORIOLES: The Tigers knocked off the Orioles 4-2 yesterday afternoon at Joker Marchant Stadium. Collin Balester (1-0) earned the win in relief for the Tigers, while Tyler Stohr closed out the game for the save. Danny Worth finished with two hits and an RBI for the Tigers, while Gerald Laird added a single and two RBI.

CROSBY OPTIONED TO TRIPLE A TOLEDO YESTERDAY: The Tigers optioned the contract of lefthanded pitcher Casey Crosby to Triple A Toledo following yesterday afternoon’s game.

GOING YARD: Through 13 games of Grapefruit League action this spring the Tigers have belted 20 home runs. Detroit is tops among all American League clubs with 20 home runs this spring.

RABURN ROLLING THIS SPRING: Ryan Raburn finished with a double yesterday afternoon against the Orioles in Lakeland. He is tops among all Grapefruit League players with four home runs, 14 RBI and 24 total bases this spring.
