TIGERS TIE PHILLIES, GET RAINED OUT AT HOUSTON: The Tigers and the Phillies played to a 4-4 tie in 10 innings in Clearwater yesterday, while the other half of Detroit’s split squad was rained out versus Houston in Kissimmee. Ryan Raburn finished with a double, home run and three RBI for Detroit against the Phillies, while Ramon Santiago added three hits.

FISTER TO PITCH IN MINI CAMP GAME TOMORROW MORNING: Doug Fister is scheduled pitch tomorrow morning in a mini camp game scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at Joker Marchant Stadium. Phil Coke, Darin Downs and Tyler Stohr are all scheduled to pitch in the mini camp game as well.

GOING YARD: Through nine games of Grapefruit League action this spring the Tigers have belted 18 home runs. Detroit is tops among all American League clubs with 18 home runs this spring.

STINGY STAFF: Tigers pitchers have compiled a 2.39 ERA through the club’s first nine games of Grapefruit League action this spring. Detroit is second among all American League clubs with a 2.39 ERA.

CHECKING THE LEADER BOARDS: Ryan Raburn is leading the Grapefruit League with 11 RBI this spring, while he is tied for the lead with three home runs. Brennan Boesch, Eric Patterson and Delmon Young are all tied for third in the league with two home runs this spring, while Young is sixth with six RBI and Boesch is tied for seventh with five RBI.
